What a great start to your KTP trip. ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^ Wonderful to see that you spotted a leopard that is not shy and hide behind the nearest dune. \O Pearl-spotted owl will make any birder very jealous. O:V In my KTP checklist its marked off as diurnal and nocturnal. ;-)

Was it somewhere in the area of Uri?
Hi Mel, I think the Leopard was in the vicinity of Kamqua but I can't be certain.
Still fits. ^Q^

It was a great start and went downhill shortly after - as you'll find out in the next episode - luckily it wasn't as serious as it first seemed to be.

Someone else had already seen the Leopard but I think we'd have picked him up anyway as he was brazenly strolling down the middle of the river bed. He was so big my first thought when I saw him was "Lion".

We heard plenty of PSOs at all hours so I guess they may be crepuscular too :-)

Hi Dad,
Great to see that you are back safely and had a good time. I was just trying to remember if we saw a leopard when we went to the Kgalagadi together last time. Did we? Oh, and I can't wait to see more shots! 懐かし!! (check it on a Japanese translator).

Hi Son!

Good to see you back at AW! I love these translators, your single word translated perfectly but I was going to try a short sentence. "I cannot remember if we saw a leopard". To check it, I translated the result back into English and got "If you saw a leopard, I do not remember us.". There's a whole web site dedicated to this sort of stuff called http://www.engrish.com, my personal favourites are two shop names; "Server Translation Error" and "Wong Foo Keng Book Shop".
