Back from a bit of a boring day in the park, and it was cold. Just a few not so good pics today...

This Impala was infested with flies on his face.

And then this poor little Ellie. He has a serious problem with his back legs. The left one was very swollen and had a wound on the inside and the right one looked a bit thin. Maybe it looked like this comparing it to the swollen left leg, but he had serious difficulty moving around. :-( The good thing is that my LO was almost in tears watching it, and when we drove off she said, "Daddy, that has cured my fear of Elephants". \O

Hi Sprocky,

I got a text from friends who are in Shingwedzi today, that made me green with envy until I saw your pic of the Mocking Cliff chat. Still not seen one of them, so even greener now. ^Q^

Shame about the little ellie, but glad the LO has lost her fear of them a bit. \O

Still looks quite green there, Sprocks!

BONE dry vegetation all the way South!

Dunno whether to be happy about what your LO said or feeling sad about the little ellie.
But I guess that's nature for you...

There is nothing wrong with your photos! They are as fantastic as usual.
But I reckon you're not too happy because it was a rather quiet day...
