Day 3 Part 7 - last:







Now we returned to Pafuri picnic spot, late in the afternoon, which is quite a privilege when one stays at TEBA!


(And a good alibi should one perhaps have just destroyed the Luvhuvhu Bridge, I'm sure you would agree!)



Animals take the place over as soon as the throng of visitors leaves...





















Frank does his final chores:





















RP: "Right! Now, thish shegment ish our lasht shlurring, ash it ish being overdone!"

Dest.: "Right!"

RP: "Now we go for a pee!"

Dest: "You didn't shlurr! -O "

RP: " -O There were no lettersh to shlur with!"

Dest: "Gigglegiggle..."

RP: "Right, let'sh go!"

Dest.: "No waysh! Have you sheen how many animals are on thish property?"































Please excuse Destroyer apparently urinating against the Kapoen in the background... :roll:











So I went to the Eastern ablution Block and did a very clever little bit of trick photography!

You put the camera on the wall, take a pic, and a few hours later take another pic without moving the camera! A brillant technique devised by myself and NASHA! (Sorry, NASA!)





























NASA Headquarters, Cape Canaveral, FLA:

Private: "Shir...Sir...we have anothew weport of activity by Wichpwins..."

Colonel: "Are you sure it is not Richprins from the strange Tamboti fixtures in an earlier report!? "

Private: "Yes! It is Wichpwince!"

Colonel: "No...Wichpwince is another agent, one of ours! "

Private: "But Sirw, I weally..."

Colonel: "Dismissed!"









So having unwittingly dodged a bullet, so to speak, we had a look at this fellow primate drinking:






















And Frank told us to F...off, so we did that too!

Had a long night hiding out...err patrolling in Nwambiya Sandveld. Cops all over the place. Sand in my shoes. Saw yellow sand lizard, sand grouse, sand fly, and possible sand fishing owl. (Camouflage was too good. ) Will perhaps postpone killing the fat bald one, as there is police presence. Sand in my cashmere

Day 4 Part 1:


Early morning pic of Section Ranger leachy in unusual disguise, for some reason? After NASA, FBI, Sanparks and antipoaching have been through available evidence, this is all that's left..













He was undercover as a cleaning lady at TEBA...


Anyhoo, bright and brisky we set off for our first all-inclusive joint trip on a morning drive!


As we were about to alight into the kapoen, I was startled to feel a sharp pain on the bridge of my left foot.

In fact it was more like a hammer blow using a semi-molten industrial steel pounder found in countries all over the world, which can exert a force of 200 tons per square centimetre!












RP: "Help! Help! Black Mamba!"

Section Ranger leachy: "I know not of this black mamma you speak of..."

GvR: "Aha! Brunch!"

Dest.: "I'm innocent!"

RP: "Oh, the humanity! :( "






Upon looking down I saw a small fly, or the tiniest wasp imaginable, buzzing off into the distance. Now I've been "steeked" by some of the most horrendous creatures known to man in the past...and this was something out of this world!






RP: "Mommeeee!"

leachy: "What now!?"

RP: "Errr...a fly bit me!!!!"

leachy: "Really..."





And the evidence was there...plain to see!















So we left, without anyone calling an ambulance or anything...but I was tough...this is Africa, you know!

And the bitemark got worse!














RP: "Oh, sweet mother of Kazhakhstan! I don't want to die here! The pain...the pain!!!"

GvR: "Have a beer..."

RP: "Why thankyou...Don't mind if I do!...Ohhhh, the pain!!"


















RP: (Clish) "It's getting worse! Look! I'm starting to burst out in Pustules!"

GvR: "Shut up! You're too young to be having pusstools yet!"

Dest.: "Heeh heeh, you said..."

Leachy: "That looks quite serious! Let's immediately NOT do anything!"

GvR: "Heeh heeh!"

Leachy: " -O "












So while I was narrowly averting cardiac arrest, the others went on their merry way...(Clish)


And then it got even worse!














I am not entirely sure what body part of mine this is, but it was a new eruption!







RP: "I'm feeving feelerish...feeling feverish..."






No reply, for some reason...apparently the others were more interested in game viewing and suchlike...





Next episode...what becomes of poor RP!?





GvR: "No, Next episode we see some animals! :roll: "

RP: "Aaargh..."

Poor RP, you must have been ill an awfully long time with those nasty pistules considering the long wait we have had to endure to see blurred pics of your big toe.

For a moment there I thought I'd logged onto the junior bush doctors website.

Hope the other pistules in the Kapoen with you took pity and finally rushed you to the morg...... sorry hospital.

Great stuff, this will go down in the annals of heroic exploration. Who knows, you may get a bird or mammal named after you? Or even a new species of biting fly?

I did survive, but have never had an allergic reaction like that...Destroyer had a similar one when this TR started in 2010, maybe it was the same insect?
