There has been great excitement this weekend in the birding world. A Spotted Crake was spotted

at Waterfall Country Estate (about 5 mins from where we live). The Crake is a rare summer visitor so its appearance has seen hundreds of birders flocking

to find it.

Mel, the crake was walking along the waterline, so everyone was lined up on the bank...enough space for everyone. $\O$
