Day 2. Sunday 27 July 2013. Sanbonani.

We arrived at Phabeni Gate just before it opened only to find a massive queue of cars, so it was off to Kruger Gate again where we entered the park with no delay.

A little later I found my first subject, a very relaxed Giant Kingfisher.

Then some Bushbuck ewes

and a dainty lamb

A very kind fellow told us to take the next left and we would see....









DOGGIES!!!!!!

They were so full of food they looked like they were about to pop :shock:

Here is the Boss and his Lady, they were inseparable.

He was whispering sweet nothings in her ear.

They both got up and started scent marking

I suspect the female was in season and he was protecting his interests!

I wasn't quick enough to get the buck with its guitar and harmonica -O

It was a good move but it changed our plans a bit, I had intended to drive the S3 without the sun in my eyes but I'm glad I missed out on the jostling JJs.

Doggie sightings are ALWAYS awesome! X#X
