Thanks Nan, Flutt's BB & Amoli.
Amoli & I stopped at the weir on our way out of the reserve after the meet where we watched a Moorhen pottering about in the water.....

It is not "pottering about in the water", it is fighting fiercely against the force of the stream

Cheers for the comments Lis, Nan, RP, Bushcraft, Amoli & Flutterby.
The previous day, there was an ewe Reedbuck on the opposit side of the weir to where the Moorhen was.
And Rhino also somewhere in the reserve.
