Just back from the camp, and the walkway is still cordoned off... O-/

An AW member reports Wednesday that the walkway is FINALLY being rebuilt! ^Q^

However she is quite technically minded re. her business and feels that the threaded bar rods being used for the poles are way too thin (6-8mm) where 10 is the absolute minimum. Also some of the old poles are being re-used, while standard practice should be for the tender-winner-contractor to quote for a total replacement and take away the remains. :evil: :evil:

The new poles are also being painted with creosote while lying on the brand-new floor planking, and those stains will never be able to be removed. 0*\

She also checked the railings at the restaurant itself on the upper deck and feels that they need urgent care and are unsafe. O-/
