01 June 2018 - Part 1/2
Time to leave Pretorius Kop and travel up to Satara for two nights. Travelled via H1-1, H1-2 (S83), H1-3 (S86).
Early morning ellies.
These guys were a bit worried by the hornbill.
Tawny Eagle????
Burchells Coucal drying off in the early morning sun at De La Porte waterhole.
White Fronted Bee Eater at Skukuza.
Hammerkop at low level bridge over Sabie River.
A group of Saddlebills at same bridge.
Woolly Necked Stork at Leeupan.
Red Eyed Dove at Tshokwane.
Goliath Heron fishing at Tshokwane.

Mazithi Dam.
Kumana Dam. So sad to see how little water there was in it and the rainy season is over.
Still at Kumana Dam.
This guy was trying so hard to get to the fruit in a sausage tree pod.
An old kill at Nkaya Pan.
Northern Black Korhaan
Magpie Shrike.
Sweni river bridge on H1-3.

Fabulous pics with lots of animals. I love the first one with elephants in all sizes
When you have finished your TT, you should participate in
"The Kruger National Park Challenges" (Mammals, birds and reptiles). It is great fun
