the one with the giraffe‘s heads sticking out of the grass is one of my favourite pictures as well.
Toko thanks for the id again – is the small one the tropical house gecko?
Thanks for confrming the id of the novice. Are the other ones emperor swallowtail, african monarch, and acraeas (not sure which ones, though)?

a little bit further we saw some willies in the grass
all day long we saw many flying “objects” which we called Wuchtbrummen as we had no idea what they were. This is the best picture I managed
Fortunately, this one landed in the grass and it turned out that our flying objects were dung beetles
