Funny to see how short the birds are in comparison to their width when flying.

The Cape Kestrel has an interesting design on the back.

The pics posted are excellent, but judging from your words you had lots of blurred ones too, which is very understandable O**

You really saw a wide selection, Flutts! ^Q^

And even a rarity! \O

My Nipponese Small Camela would only get dots, so well done! [O]

Some EXCELLENT pics there O\/, and even more so given the" uncommon" species to many of us, and the fact they are in flight. ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^

I feel your pain on trying to photograph flying birds - can be very, very challenging, so great job there to capture as many as you did.  O\/

Thanks Lis, I'm not too happy with my pics but I think most people think their own pics are never good enough. :O^

Yes, we saw a lot of different birds, and I didn't even get pics of all the different species. \O

By far the most common birds were the Prions. We supposedly saw Antarctic, Salvin's, Fairy, Slender-billed, and Broad-billed Prions. However, they all look exactly the same to me, and according to all the experts, they are almost impossible to differentiate in the field! 0*\ -O-

I have tried to ID some of them but I may be completely wrong! O**
