They pile on top of each other to get access to basking. Very often the larger ones on top of the smaller ones and they actually do never fight over these positions

I think the serrated-hinged ones can not pile up due to the domed shell, so they must find a hippo to bask on.

Today I could see it all the way. That big one is a real brute and ended up where it deserved
