The palm trees look kind of wrong in Kalahari :-?

850 Km -O- ........You could stay a day less in KTP and make it 425 km x 2 O** -O

then return home :-( ... 850 km is nothing... compared to my return 0'
Hey Nan, You get someone else to drive - 9-10 hours behind the wheel is not fun, even in a BluTuna which is the best long-distance car I've ever driven.

I enjoyed your Travel Tale a lot and hope you'll go back soon (KTP that is O** )
for me to enjoy some more O\/

Thanks for posting! X#X

Did you happen to go out for dinner when you stayed in Upington before you
went on the trek back home? If so, where did you go and can you recommend it? 0()
Thanks for accompanying me on this marathon TT \O i could have stayed there for another two weeks easily but unfortunately, I have to work in order to pay for these wonderful times.

We stayed at the Kalahari guest House which is 50kms (almost to the metre) north of Upington on the R360 - 200 kms from Twee Rivieren. It was very comfortable and the price was OK, R600 for the room. We braaied the last of the meat we brought from home!

True, but I rather have people fly me than drive myself -O

Very good \O =O:

I have a bumper sticker on the BluTuna, it reads - "ZA".

I have another one on my trailer which reads "Astronomy is looking up".

Next trip has already happened (Kruger July 26-29) - TT to be started when I've recovered from this one! I'll put a link at the bottom of this TT.

The next one is immediately below...
