I think it was just bad luck that they found me. If we'd have been 10 minutes later getting back from our drive they'd have been gone.

Thanks RP, I do get mad when people think that the rules are for other people.

Day 13, Saturday June 15, Twee Rivieren -> Kalahari Guest House.
We decided to have one last, short, morning drive, have breakfast at the restaurant, pack up camp and leave the park.
More scenery with a Martial Eagle
And with a Tawny Eagle
Some Suricates tryng to warm up
Another Tawney with scenery
Sociable Weaver scavenging for building material
A final Springbok picture
And last but not least, a new tick for us, an Ashy Tit
That night I went out and took some more sky pictures at the guest house. The first quarter Moon illuminated the trees quite nicely.
All we had then was the 850Km drive home the next day.

Shame this had to come to an end - I could have travelled with you forever
I enjoyed your Travel Tale a lot and hope you'll go back soon (KTP that is

)
for me to enjoy some more
Thanks for posting!
Did you happen to go out for dinner when you stayed in Upington before you
went on the trek back home? If so, where did you go and can you recommend it?

... 850 km is nothing... compared to my return
True, but I rather have people fly me than drive myself -O
