Just recently traveled there!! The area surrounding would be
very condusive and lending to such activity.

Looking at the bigger picture that would be just about it,...

"The glory of Kruger surrounded by all evil" and that meaning
humans with other intentions to survival.

We may as well accept that fact for this planet is becoming
one awful small place for all to exist, the good and bad,....

What the locusts don't WANT to understand is that once rhino are gone from Kruger, or a tourist gets killed, the money may dry up very fast indeed in the Lowveld and at OR Tambo airport, as foreigners choose other destinations.

The locals that fill up Kruger don't buy the curios, bring their own food and drink, already contribute to the local economy anyway, etc.

Be very careful!

From what I understand, is that Kruger not really
is a great haven for rhino. The south lends itself
for white rhino and the north more black.

The southern greener plains more suited for white
and the drier regions for black,..please correct me
should I be wrong, black rhino are scarce and hard
to find.

If we take into account the stats for argument sake
as suggested by the authorities and those that should
supposedly know,.."75% of all rhino are roaming in
Kruger",...a proud Sanpark's statistic then yah,....

DEA seems to believe they are the proud owners of
maybe yet some 20,000 conservatively 18,000 ,...

Give them the edge and make it 12,000 of which
75% = 9,000 should still be roaming the plains of
Kruger!!!!!

Roughly speaking a 150 intersections in Kruger!!!

Therefore 9,000 devided 150 = that one should at
least be in close proximity least see 60 of these
beasts from corner to corner!!

Happy hunting mr. poacher for you see more than me.

I bet you can replace your rhino sightings with .gov
sightings more regular like!! No great need too waste
petrol for you!!!

Kruger has no absolute picture of white rhino numbers, despite pleas for simple complete aerial censuses via chopper and fixed-wing, as was proven to be realistic years ago.

Black rhino are far more elusive, sticking to wooded areas where possible, even leading to "estimates" in the old days, and are also shot a lot less as a result.
