Apart from the tourons, it seems to have been a nice afternoon. The cheetahs are beautiful and I love the pics of the korhaan

Day 12, Friday June 14, Twee Rivieren.
It had to happen, our last full day in the KTP
, we did the reverse of yesterday's drive this morning, up the Auob, across the lower dune road, up to Melkvlei picnic spot and back down the Nossob river to TR.
Our first sighting for the day was a Tawny Eagle that was behaving very strangely
Then I saw it was trying to pick up a twig. It must have been just the right twig for its nest considering the amount of effort it took to get!
A flash of crimson in the bush
We had more luck on the dune road that we did yesterday
Lesser Kestrel
Black Korhaan

Bad Hair Day or Jedward bush
More eye-popping colours
A pugnacious looking brindled Gnu
Ostriches taking a sand bath.
and running around

I agree - the colours are absolutely amazing! And that oryx on the red dune
against the beautiful blue sky is particularly nice.
Interesting tawny sighting - would have loved to watch that as well.
