I'm glad someone else appreciates the little creatures with more than four legs!

Day 11 Tuesday 20 November : Crocodile Bridge.
Up at sparrows again for another drive up the S28, anticlockwise!
At Gezantombi.
Then a beautiful sunrise.
Mr. Greedy and co had moved on but there were some groupies still hanging around.
A silhouetted unmentionable.
The light was just right for this Impie.
Redbacked Shrike.
A solo Dwarf Mongoose.
At Lower Sabie we took a walk around the camp.
Arrowmarked Babblers.
Southern Boubou.
Not a Spotted Maize Beetle.
And a pair of Tree Agamas

Nice birds and great pics of the agamas
The unmentionable has quite a horn
The "Not a Spotted Maize Beetle" has some very nice colours

Haha, that's a very fat and flat agama
Lovely Boubou, one of my soft spot birdies
And the beetle with the yellow clubbed antennae which are very stylish is a Blister Beetle (
Hycleus lugens)

Not bad!
A pretty bug, for a change!
What does "up at Sparrows" mean?

Was great catching up again.
And yes, you have had a lot of luck with your animal sightings and bugs... great pictures as well BT
Like the close up of the spider and cicada, damselfly and not the cricket... I see enough of them in Pretoria. There are one bug that I particularly don't like seeing in the Park and that is a cockroach... they can steer clear...
