We carried on after spending some time with the hyena family.

There was a small loop and i thought lets go and explore.........

Not far down a guy was parked on the side. We stopped and asked him what was so interesting...

But the smell in the air was terrible and we knew something died. He pointed out in the direction of the river and told us about an elephant carcass.

Some vultures were sitting on the ground waiting to get a piece

Some were still fast asleep in the trees

Others already had some breakfast and fighting with other animals

Here one can see the elephant carcass behind the tree with the tusks sticking out. We couldn't spot any other predators around.

We couldn't last very long with that smell and decided to carry on........

Once again it only allows me to post 4 pictures......

It was very far in and i could only confirm that it was an elephant after checking the pictures
