I think the predators are snared by accident, as these snares are for small game meat. That area has been heavily burned over the last few weeks?

Of course they are snared by accident, but isn't that bad enough? Even if the the snare is put there for an impala, there is no excuse for putting out a snare. It might catch anything

That's always been the problem with snares...they are indiscriminate!

Charleston male, aka Hangtooth, spotted with a snare around his neck 4 days ago. Tooth seems to have fallen out.
Please report when seen as he needs urgent attention.
He and his brother roam the territory along S65 between S1 and S3, also up to Paul Kruger gate.

It's easy to say "enough is enough", but it does not stop people from putting up snares. Something more earnest has to be done
