Lower Sabie

We were up at 5am bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, ready for action. O/\ We got to the gate at 5.58am, so only had to wait 2 minutes to get out of camp. ;-)

This morning we were heading down the H4-2 to Croc Bridge, along the S25 for a bit, then up to the H5 and back up the H4-2.

"Morning has broken, Blackbird has spoken". :-)

A sleepy-looking ellie. ;-)

This cow had a backwards tusk! 0-

A majestic Martial!

The H4-2 was very quiet so it didn't take too long to get down to Croc Bridge and onto the S25. At the turn-off to Hippo Pools we came across a handsome pair of African Hawk-eagles.

A cute squirrel for Lis. ;-)

Brown Snake-eagle.

The H5 was empty except for this lone giraffe.

Hopefully the H4-2 would have woken up by now and reveal something special. -O-

The photos are really good! And I certainly like the variety of birds being on display O:V

More great pics Flutt's & BB. ^Q^

Love all your eagle ones. \O

Great White Egrets have a gape that extends beyond the back of the eye by 10mm. In Yellow-billed the gape just reaches the eye. Yellow-billed are only just larger than Little Egrets in size. \O
