Love them. Only ever had one in our garden and it flew away before I could get a pic! :O^

I was very surprised when I saw them in southern Portugal, I thought they were African birds....Well, south of Portugal is actually very close to Africa lol

Liz, we have Hoopoes here, but very difficult to see 0*\
very few and they (ornitho) hide them ;-)
