Yep.

It has been busy here at the Center.
All sorts of things happened here over the last few days.
Sick cats, great cats, humping cats and a lot more.
Also a huge hailstorm on Friday evening.
Dassies on the rocks. Standing eye to eye with one while walking down the road.
Lugging rocks around and doing a lot of gardening each day to clear the new pens for the next phase of the center where we will teach the Cheetahs to go fend for themselves in the wild.

All in all a pretty good week.

Tomorrow I have a new batch of volunteers coming in.
2 From England, 1 from New Zealand and 1 from Germany.
We will be a pretty mixed crowd then.

How long do the volunteers stay and how much do they pay for volunteering?

Either 2 or 4 weeks Mel.

How much they pay I do not know. That depends with which organization they register. \O

Good morning furry friends.

Slaughter day today.
A mare horse and a donkey are going to bite the dust today to provide the necessary nourishment for the cats.

Although it is already above 30C at the moment we have no time for hanging around and diddle daddle or play around with water. =O: =O: =O:

Would have been nice to have a swimming pool though.

I guess the Vaal River will just have to do.

Here are a few from last week.

Doing the talk about Cheetahs with a group of visitors:
