Flutterby,
Just (today) back from 3 weeks Kruger. It was great to meet you, Flutterby (sr) and Flutterby (jr). Please send them my regards.

My doubt about Kaleka was right , agree with 100ponder that you have seen Ngonyama. I can add that I have pictures of Ngonyama where you can see the two small holes in his left ear, pictures made in 2009. I will update his "marks information" soon
Hope you will send me his pics so I can update his page O0 O0

Just returned today from 3 weeks Kruger. Regarding the tuskers I have been lucky to see several of the named ones and and some potential ones too.
My last day in Kruger , yesterday friday 9th, was a very nice one.... almost on our way to the airport and driving the S28 I met an old friend , Nhlowa. I photographed him first in 2006 and some little voice told me he could be a potential tusker ..... saw him again in 2009 and yes, his tusks were growing well..... now I met him in 2014 and sure ...he devellops well and I was impressed by his tusks...
It was great to see him again after 5 years, like he was coming to say "bye" and see you again.

Will start posting my tusker pics coming weeks

Thanks for the warm welcome back.
All AW members Elly and I met behaved very well RP and we liked all meetings very much. So nice to see the faces behind the names.
Met some other people who are sending me tusker pics for several years and had some good beer and or braai with them. X#X X#X

I will think about a TT :-0 :-0 but now I like to show one of the tuskers I haven't met before. Glad I named him some years ago as Mahlahini, roaming the Letaba area, since he is a real tusker !! and even living in Letaba area.... 0/*

On our way from Satara to Mopani and just outside Letaba camp he was doing some "gardening". I stopped and recognized some big tusks almost hidden in some thick bush. As tusker whisperer I started to talk to him , asking to show himself and guess what.... ? he did O**

Coming out of the bush ready for a photo-shoot.

MAHLAHINI
(recognized here and sure he is monitored somewhere else :-) )

Coming closer , listening to the whispers ;-) ;-)

Other cars approaching and stopping and Mahlahini did not like that too much , so turned around and disappeared in the bush within seconds

This was the first named tusker we met .... more to come
