Waking up to our last day in the park, I headed over towards the muggy boon to look out over the riverbed.
We had breakfast there before packing up and heading on South.
We stopped on the Olifants river bridge to stretch our legs and admire the view.
Green algae made wave patterns in the water below.
And the river views were at their best.
As we left the bridge, I noticed a Brown-headed Parrot in the trees nearby.
He took off and crossed the road in front of us, flashing his lemon underwing as he went.
Further South, a lone Hyaena was cooling off in an algal sludge.
We were headed towards Skukuza and were not too far away when a movement in the bush on my side made me ask Jan to pull over.....
