No.2 might be a stilt bug/thread bug in the family Berytidae.

After a dead weekend invertebrate wise, things were looking up a little bit during the public holiday on Wednesday. I was about to declare the summer over when I found a few interesting things to photograph.

A Leaf Katydid.

A resting Bee - possibly Megachile Sp?

Painted Lady Butterfly.

A Slender Ant.

This is a new one for me, a teeny-tiny Leaf Beetle or Ladybird (about 2-3mm long) - not sure which.

This one surprised me, it's a Bee Wolf Wasp. I saw one of these in the Kruger last year but never expected to see one in my garden O/\

Wow, great detail of the butterfly ^Q^

The Bee wolf has aubergine coloured eyes - very stylish!

The coccinellid is a Platynaspis sp. looks very similar to Platynaspis capicola (which is reported for SA)
Family: Coccinellidae. Subfamily: Coccinellinae. Tribe: Platynaspini

Thanks Toko, the Bee Wolf is a very striking insect!

I spent some time looking for the Ladybird without success, I don't know how you do it! ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^
