First of all i would like to thank Mrs. Alf for taking all the photos. As previously mentioned this report will be done by both of us.
My brother and his wife arrived early Thursday afternoon. We enjoyed a few cold tea's before packing the bakkies. (Mrs Alf and sister-in-law doing this while we were packing

At about 6pm we were packed and ready to go. We contacted my sister and her brother to find out if they are ready but no.... they were still packing

They complained that we agreed to leave at 12am

But we couldn't wait anymore and told them to hurry up

here at 4am being the first three cars inline.
Some people took a nap while we waited for the gate to open. By 5am more cars joined the queue. At about 5:45am some people from the back of the queue walked to the front gate with their reservations in hand and wanted to jump the queue to go and wait at reception. The guard told them to return to their vehicles since the gate isn't open to the public yet, only staff.
They came back a second time just before 6am, needless to say we were not too happy with them but Mrs Alf was convinced by us to sprint her heart out when they opened the gate.

Check in was quick and easy, since we already printed and filled out our indemnity forms. And then we were off.......
Our plan was to take the H-14 up north heading towards Mooiplaas picnic area for a quick breakfast.
Being a bit too early for most of the animals to come greet us, we saw our first friendly face half an hour in
After another hour we saw another family, just like us some were sleeping, others drinking and some just took a long look at us.
Next installment will be a smelly one, grab the clothes pins
