Thank you Lisbeth.
Alf wrote:Oh loving that sunrise
There is something really special about a bush veld sunrise.
Flutterby wrote:Lovely sunrise. Seems like lots of lion activity in the park at the moment.
Wow Flutterby there certainly is. I would say all cats are very active at the moment.
Richprins wrote:These pics are exquisite, stf! The lioness is pregnant! Why do I say that? One won't be skinny and the neighbour slim if they were feeding, when they are overfull their faces are full of gore, they are not big groomers! My favourite is the mousebirds!
Thanks very much R.P.. What you say makes sense about the lioness so there should be a few additions to the lion community soon.
Mel wrote:Oh, I love that cute little impala! And the mountain reedbuck is a great find Beautiful sunrise Equally beautiful bee-eater and I also like your jackal shot. Looks much healthier than their KTP counterparts The mousebirds on the salt-licking stone - very interesting Wonder if they take in salt too...Great captures of the hornbill

DAY THREE 14 SEPTEMBER AFTERNOON.
Sharing a drink at Rathlogo Dam.
Drinking buddies at Rathlogo Dam.
Fish Eagle at Makorowane Dam.
A first in our lifetime for us at Makorowane Dam - Namaqualand Dove. What a lovely song they have.
We found Amarula and approached him very cautiously. He has a very bad reputation in Pilanesberg for his penchant for attacking cars. However here he seemed to be very calm. After taking a few pics we drove off.
Our very first sighting of Rain and two of her three cubs near Lengau Dam. The third cub was there but out of sight for the photo.Ve ry far away on the top of a hill. Full 50x zoom and heavily cropped therefore not a very clear photo.
A wide angle shot at Lengau Dam.
My favourite bird.
Finally for today - a huge dung ball but where is the dung beetle??????????????
