Another favourite road of mine is the Shongololo Road or S142 NW of Mopani...Drive up the tar road past the Eendrag windmill early in the morning and turn left onto the S142 with the light right behind you ..Luck was on my side this particular morning as the seldom seen Mahlangeni pride was on their Eastern boundary walking up the road with the sun over my shoulder..perfect ...dust road too even better
I cooked the exposure by a third of a stop here ...you forget how bright it gets 30 mins after sunrise
