• If you pull up behind someone and cannot pass please don’t blow your hooter and hang out your window shouting at them - yes, we witnessed this on the low level bridge at Shingwedzi camp in the Kruger Park! This is game viewing etiquette at its worst...
Cars were crossing the narrow bridge from both sides. A few cars would proceed from the north, stop take some pictures of the crocodiles then move on....
Fighting crocodiles, shingwedzi river, kruger park
...then the cars from the south would proceed and so on - until this poor lady stopped to photograph the crocodiles and a taxi pulled up right behind her and the driver proceeded to honk his horn and yell at her to move on...
Taxi driver yelling at kruger park visitor
...while one of the passengers threw a beer bottle out the window into the river...
Beer bottle thrown out of taxi into Shingwedzi river in Kruger Park
... what a great wilderness experience and what superb game viewing etiquette!!

Great manners mr taxi
That's where you start to reverse and push his taxi into the river

That's their normal behaviour and that's why they are not very popular (understatement) anywhere
You can see the number plate, I hope that Sanparks will fine this one or even better, ban him from the park

More than 30-thousand people have signed a petition to ban taxis from the Kruger National Park.
The petition was created after a Swiss tourist was killed when a minibus taxi crashed into a giraffe earlier this month.

That's typical SP
Zero tolerance on speeding
And why only now calibrating the machines after such a huge accident.
I have an easy answer......
Catch a wake up SP and employ more traffic officers that actually work and not sleep inside their vehicle in camp
