^Q^ Wow catching up again from way back . We also have a routine of late days when we in Marloth to just enjoy Marloth wildlife without the rush of early morning gate entries .

Amazing spotting the Python in the tree ^Q^ . What a great Sunset drive always nice to get a driver who is willing to go after the sightings \O .We have not done one yet from outside as it is about R100 more per person but might consider it next time O:V .What a great set of firsts SO would be :-0 :-0 about the porcupine its on her bucket wish list .

0/* Roger. There were a few porcupine sightings along the H4-2... it was a first for our son D and some he spotted himself so he was over the moon \O

Fri 29th June

We unfortunately only had a couple more days left in the park, so we all agreed it would be a good plan to do some big day trips in. We had friends staying at Skukuza, so our plan was to head in early and meet up with them over lunch \O

The gate queues were longer than normal, so we were glad to have our pre-booking. However it was still taking a while... the Vurhami pride had parked themselves as a welcoming party on the opposite side of the river, so it was taking time to get everyone in due to queues on the bridge as everyone checked out the lions.

Fortunately it didn't take us too long and we got to enjoy the sighting from the bridge O:V

As we moved over the bridge, more and more lions came into view O\/

Some of the lion had their sights firmly set on some buffalo on the entrance side of the river

We wondered how long it would be before the lion took off in chase of the buffalo - some of the day visitors might not get to see them at all 0*\
There wasn't time to hang around to see what would happen due to all the queues, so we enjoyed a last sighting of a couple of lions making themselves comfortable in the morning light before heading on to reception to get our day passes sorted \O
