About the poachers hacking out the eyes and cutting off the ears came into the news over a year ago.
They do so because they believe that then it would be impossible for the Rhino to identify the buggers in the afterlife.

Wonder which Sangoma smoked too much of their own herbs telling them this?? O** O** 0*\ 0*\

Two more rhinos poached in Pilansberg. Two separate incidents - one rhino at each incident.
