Another enjoyable Sunday morning in the park.
First up today, a Wood Sandpiper.
The next one is common, but I don't often see them, a Common Duiker.
And them my first baby for the season. After this one I saw another six, there are a lot of very pregnant ewe's out there still.
This one had a very close encounter of some kind.
And a Southern Grey-headed Sparrow.

poor Impala... must be painful
Superb Wood Sandpiper and Common Duiker

I saw the first newborns end of September... in Kgalagadi
we can't compare births between Impalas and Springboks

My guess would be.... touch, pause, engage...

Too much rucking and scrumming are known causes of cauliflower ears.

Shame, it looks weird, but superb images, as always.
