Another enjoyable Sunday morning in the park.

First up today, a Wood Sandpiper.



The next one is common, but I don't often see them, a Common Duiker.



And them my first baby for the season. After this one I saw another six, there are a lot of very pregnant ewe's out there still.



This one had a very close encounter of some kind.



And a Southern Grey-headed Sparrow.

Today I came across this ellie with a seriously deformed ear. I wonder what could have caused this?

My guess would be.... touch, pause, engage... Too much rucking and scrumming are known causes of cauliflower ears. Shame, it looks weird, but superb images, as always.
