Awesome!
God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

Re: 18 nights of Solitude at Rooiputs
After 2 weeks at Rooiputs we decided to get 5 nights at Mata Mata to finish off the trip ..All the worthwhile top electrified sites were taken. But with our current tent trailer with its high tent its actually very cool ..so we went to our favorite spot at Mata Mata ..Right on our own , out in the open in the far bottom corner ..no passing traffic and no electricity..but the panels kept the freezer ice cold . The Namibia /South Africa boundary fence is straight ahead in the picture . Our meat supply was nearly depleted at this stage of the trip and the 5 days werent planned for before leaving home . However there was no meat available in the shop ..but we knew the neighbouring farmer in Namibia has a delightful farm stall 600 metres up the road in the neighbouring country. We got permission from Customs and Border Control on both sides and we had a nice walk to the Kotze's farm Store ..and stocked up on some great Namibian Dorper Mutton chops and home made wors with a distinct German appeal ..The officials dont mind as long as you dont use your vehicle. Our Trip to the Kalahari last April therefore involved 3 countries, Botswana , RSA and Namibia..all without a passport or Visa

No neighbours, at least on the top side
I have read about the butcher in other TTs from KTP, we even thought of going there when we were in Mata Mata, but it is quite a walk if it's hot
