I also like the dusty elephant!

That area was also dryer compared to others so a lot of dust was around

Okay now I know where to look for more carefully

Nearly at the end of that road a large group of giraffes had a congress.



At the Lower Sabie causeway we stopped for a foraging pied kingfisher



and after another break at the camp itself we decided to make another break at sunset dam where we could admire a juvenile black winged stilt extreme close



and the sunbathing crocodile close to our car was still a baby.



Gladly now we could admire a yellow billed stork extreme close because in the morning they were all too far away



same started to fish and presented its special fishing policy to us.



Needless to say that besides the nearby baby crocodile we spotted uncountable larger ones



and could not take our eyes away from the yellow billed stork



and its one winged tactics.





We still had a great time there as compared to our morning stay there now all birds could be seen extreme close as this sandpiper,



and the ever present three banded plover so our photographer’s heart could be satisfied extremely.

The rest of our drive was then again a bit quiet but we still had time for a stop at Ntandanyathi and today the ever present grey heron was still around



as well as a huge sunbathing crocodile,



a couple of weavers,



lots of buffalo weavers



and the second grey heron.



It was a lovely early afternoon stop there and after we spent nearly an hour there we left again to drive back slowly via the S28 to Crocodile Bridge camp. Along the road we stopped for a tawny eagle with kill,



and a booted eagle.





Another amazing sighting was then again a black bellied korhaan



which gladly posed long enough for a couple of shots before same disappeared in the high green grass – needless to say that we still could hear its call.



During our morning drive we already could capture the many zebras in that area and now it was again time for another photo shooting with them



as on top the light meanwhile was brilliant again
