Today I came across this ellie with a seriously deformed ear. I wonder what could have caused this?

It is also always nice to get pics of a Squirrel that is not in a camp. They normally don't hang around long enough for pics, but this one did.

Seems the ellie has gotten quite used to it's ear being like it is. Looks healthy enough otherwise. Wonder if it;s been like that since birth, or an infection of some sorts later on?
