Back at camp, it was getting disturbingly hot...around 60 degrees, according to the weather website...
No more driving...so nice to sit at the fence a bit!
One of those big elephants was in the riverbed...forget which one, but aat has it!
It was hot, and I had a bit of "me time!"
The stress was wearing off, which is the thing about Kruger...Some say we teachers have a half-day job, and too many holidays etc...but that is not true...
I started accosting passers-by and explaining the world to them, unfortunately...still teaching!
Dimwits unwinding all over the place!
They were playing with the antlions...
Frew: "Hey! Mambash! Come and check the shmall tilapia neshts!"
The fire happened due to spontaneous combustion in the heat, IMO...
Mam: "Shpon..What!?"
Frew: "I dare you to shay Shponteneoush Combushtion 3 times fasht!"
It was Mambas' "Kosbeurt"....he doesn't mess around with food! Admirable!
Mam: "This was eashy! The steak cooked in the shun...fire only needed for colour!
"
The unit didn't have a kitchen...so off to the communal it was!
Triiing...
Prec: "Hello"
RP: "Hello...Precious, I really am not used to..."

Haven't done this for many years...great to chat with the ooms and tannies, and I saved the dimwits' pap and sheba there, IMO, as I had experience of operating the IMPOSSIBLE hotplates! It's like riding a bike, and a persistent Kruger test!
Me do dishwash!
Then Frewells fell and got badly injured!
After many years of me getting mocked, it was really great, and I was ecstatic! Justice!
