These pics were not all taken on the same day but rather spread over fours days, so they weren't as rushed as it might seem in the photos.

They were generally given about 2 to 3 hours to explore whichever museum/landmark they were visiting, and then time to get food and go shopping.
They also visited the Museum of the American Indian and the Natural History Museum.

The Zoo was not a big hit. Apparently most of the enclosures were empty, and this panda enclosure was indoors and very small.
This is the Kennedy Centre for the Performing Arts. The Grand Foyer is one of the largest rooms in the world. If laid on its side, the Washington Monument would fit in this room with 23 m to spare.
The 3 arced spires show the location of the 9/11 Pentagon memorial.
Arlington Cemetery is the US military cemetery. There are over 500 000 graves here dating back to the American Civil War and it is still used today.
The Museum of Crime and Punishment provided some laughs.
