And you got even a photos up the vultures which are usually only small dots high up on the sky ^Q^

The "hill" is a phantastic site for a picnic, I hope you had some snacks with you lol

For me one of the best views in SA and your photography does justice to it O\/ O\/ O\/
Thanks Toko, yes, we had a full-on breakfast with SM & Skillie, it was a beautiful day with only a light breeze at the top of the hill.

It's about time you upgraded your steam-powered modem and PC

Just for you, here they are again......

Then we got to "The Hill"!

If you look carefully, you can see the road climbing diagonally up the side of it.

"The Hill" was really a freaking MOUNTAIN!

We were headed up to the top of this......
Image

And the road looked like it climbed at 45 degrees.
Image

But the views were staggering; this was from about halfway up.
Image

At the top; a view that Zeus would enjoy! We had climbed over a kilometre from our start at Bontle Camp.

The view into the valley with the road snaking through it.

On the way back down the mountain (which was even more harrowing than going up - I had the sheer drop on my side of the car), there was a family of Klipspringers.

Daddy.

Baby.

And Mommy, who was looking on from the wrong side of the road.

Image

We also got a glimpse of a Mountain Reedbuck.
Image

Nearer to the camp, a couple of Giraffes.
Image

We spent the afternoon relaxing in the camp and managed to spot....

A Dung Beetle.
Image

Paradise flycatcher.
Image

And Dad and chick Chinspot Batis.

I somehow managed the start of this :o0ps:

What a beautiful scenery and the bird sightings are amazing! Very well captured (all of the shots) again! ^Q^

Klipspringers are really cute and that's really well featured in your photos. :-0
