In short the mopane South of the Tropic of Capricorn has started browning up , but in the North all green. There were puddles of water around Shingwedzi and Punda from recent rains. North of Luvhuvhu the grass has dried up.

I was in the park this weekend.
Nyamwundwa is the lowest I've seen in years. Kumana & Jones Dams also very low.
Lots of waterholes bone dry. Not sure if this is part of the new waterhole policy ? If that is the case, why don't they just close the waterholes properly, and take down the windmills ?
To be honest there are very few good waterholes / dams left in the area between Tsokwane and Sweni. Just about all the waterholes on the S33, S34, S36, S125 & S126 are closed/dry. It's been said a million times, but losing Lugmag & Vutomi Dams is a real shame....
