Am I missing something here? The luxury campsites and the chalets were part of the BAR from October 2012.
After the DEA's request and Delron's answer to it which was provided in March 2014, I've heard nothing again
of it and now they start building in Nossob?!?

Any one been to Nossob yet to report if they did start with the development at Nossob camp. I was hoping they will be finished by Dec 2015 when I've made bookings at Nossob. -O-

All info says it won't disturb the camp but the building will be done on the N and S side of the hide so I don't know how that won't happen. And where will all the workers sleep and which ablutions will they use. 0- 0-

I'm going in about 4 weeks time and intend to take photos for documentation of any building activity at Nossob.
But don't hold your breath for December 2015... As far as I remember the original plan was that the building should
have started end of March 2013 and should have been finished at the start of April 2015. If things are going only
remotely according to the maintenance work on the Twee to Kij road, we're in for a very looong building period...

Luckily, those two nights at Uri I grabbed the other night were replacements for Nossob,
We've only got one night there now. O**

0/* Mel when are you going then? We are also leaving in 4 weeks time, but only from 5 April in the park and hoping for our first game drive on the 4th from TR. It will be lovely if we can meet each other and maybe even be at the same sighting. \O

All very sad and worrying ..The increased traffic , HUGE strain on the infrastructure and SCARCE water resources ...Lower Sabie look alike here we come ..They will need to tar the road from TR as the corrugations will be far worse ...that will mean Mugg & Bean and Tour Buses ..A BAD DREAM if there ever was one ..Thank goodness I experienced Nossob in the late 1970's and early 1980s when my now 30 plus year old boys were born and had their first birthday in camp with just Dr Gus Mills kids to invite to the party where Margie Mills had made a cake in the wood oven and used ONE BIG wax candle for Rob's first birthday and the Bushmen Trackers kids came as well ...Number of other campers in camp on all those twice yearly 3 week pre school trips = NIL!! Roads ..smooth as a babies bum we went in the VW Beetle no probs no corrugations...Very sad very sad ...money money money..I can still remember arriving at Nossob and Rian Labuschagne the Section Ranger had taped off our usual site (Now no 5 in the bottom corner ) ..I don't know why as nobody else was coming anyway and a pile of Camel thorn wood was left at our site for our stay

It was another century and other times. Impossible not to be nostalgic!
