Thank you. Yes an excellent trip. 29 lifers including White-fronted Plover, Crested Guineafowl, Brown Scrub Robin, Crowned Hornbill, Kittlitz's Plover, Cape Longclaw & Rosy-throated Longclaw, Yellow-billed Duck, Rudd's Apalis, Black Harrier, African Dusky Flycatcher, Levaillant's Cisticola & Brimstone Canary.

Hi folks,
last but not least I saw this Land Tortoise, maybe a member of the family Testudinidae, inside the Duwisib Castle in SW-Namibia. So maybe it's not common there, rather it's a pet.
What do you think? Any ideas about the species? Thanks for your help once again.

So ... my second thought
I think this might be a Chersobius solus, Nama padloper, Nama Dwarf Tortoise, Berger's Cape Tortoise, or Nama Tortoise
It underwent reclassification recently, it was previously known as Homopus solus
Good pets
but their natural range is in that area.
