Hey howzit B.C. So glad to have you on board.

Thanks for the lovely comments.

We did not manage to see the N'watimhiri causeway leopard. We did that loop three times over two days but no luck. :-(

So our last day comes to an end. Tomorrow morning we go sit at Lake Panic for a few hours before heading to Phabeni gate to go home.

Ten minutes before the gate we saw our best sighting of the two weeks and what a way for Kruger to say goodbye.

To be continued.

The two fish eagles are beautiful and also the goliath heron ^Q^ ^Q^

The black ones in flight -O- Unfortunately they have pink legs, if not i'd have said ravens or something like that. It is also difficult to judge the size.

Once again nice elephants \O

The Sabie River is dry at least in that place :-(

Sorry about being absent for the past 10 days but our electrical substation burnt to the ground on 10 July. They rebuilt it by 15 July but when they switched on there was no power. On checking they found that the new cables they had laid had been stolen. New cables were laid by end 16 July but found that other cables had been damaged. Cables were repaired on 17 July and after testing power was finally restored at 04:00 today (18 July) and stayed on. We are told that it normally takes them between 3 and 6 months to build a substation and they did it in 6 days at a cost of R 80 million. Unfortunately we lost everything we had in our fridge and freezer.

I will post our final day tomorrow.
