Re: Needs Attention: Kruger Park
During my recent visit too Punda Maria together
with other visitors, was exposed too the smell of
diesel emanating from the waterhole at the hide!
Also when the sprinklers at the swimming pool,
activated, the smell of diesel fuel was there,....
A forum member, on facebook reported a shortage
off diesel fuel!!!
Other visitors too this popular campsite lodged
complaint and together with this the upgrade of
last years ablution facility at the hide still reeks a
smell.
Complaints have been logged and can I please have
clarity,... are the animals at the hole drinking diesel???

HE why don't you try contacting Laurence Schroeder from Total.
Effective
from 1 July 2011, Total will supply fuel to
the parks as well manage service stations
within the surrounding areas.
Laurence Schroeder, Total’s Key Accounts
Manager on the project and his team are
pleased to bring SANParks on board and
add it to Total’s impressive list of clients.
Says Schroeder: “Our partnership with
SANParks has grown from strength to
strength. Total supports ongoing efforts in
conservation and the company has been
actively involved in environmental and
conservation initiatives for over 55 years

Over and above, generally the state of the park is not in ship shape!! Excluding Tzendse,
those two work their butt off, there seems to be slight general neglect everywhere,
The floods have done great damage and repair work is top priority however
garbage cans, in the hide can be emptied more regularly, grass can be trimmed
more regularly, the gate attendant could do with a better chair to sit in,
the mega buck coffee machine(3000 cups a day) could do with repair and so
on!!!!
One travels many kilometers to avoid run down park situations down south yet
even the north seems pestered with a slapgat attitude!!!

Re: Needs Attention: Kruger Park
I agree.
Rather remove it from the public eye.

Sometimes it’s not until you don’t see what you want to see, that you truly open your eyes.
