Still my question remains un-answered, and I repeat,...

How long does it take for a rhino horn to grow, from
base to average size/weight????

On average the horn grows about 90mm a year H. For a horn to reach an average size and weight, up to 10 years. (This depends on what you would call average size and weight though).

A study showed that de-horned rhino were usually poached 12 to 18 months after being de-horned.

This is virtually impossible regarding Kruger, IMO, without significant collusion from officials. I don't care how many gangs enter from Moz...the industrial time scale just doesn't make sense, especially when things seem calmer outside Kruger!

So our estimate must change, okie?

32 Rhinos killed in Kruger in past month

South African National Parks figures released on February 26 2014 show that 32 rhinos have been killed in the flagship Kruger National Park in the past month. On January 21, the kill figure stood at 63; it has risen to 95 since then.

I do not agree Okie.
You are comparing a daily average of the whole of 2013 to an averadge of 2 months of 2014.

Hmmmm. It seems I did speak too soon . With 146 so far , it still means 2.65 per day - no real difference
