Lovely photos, Roger ^Q^ ^Q^

On my last trip I saw hippos grazing at 13:00 and it was very hot and sunny 0-

The croc has bought a ticket for an "Adventure Trip" lol

If RPs ID is correct, then it is an giant armoured lizard that took my interest this time around ^Q^

And the sunset... I'm a sucker for African colours :-0

You never got to see the tail’s owner 0= It would have driven me crazy O/

Wow, a fantastic cheetah sighting and the only car ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^

Eish hard-core before and after pics of the buffalo =O:

Wild dogs sleeping can get boring rapidly, but it’s still another great sighting O/\

Hippo cruising around in daylight and what was that croc up to :-?

-O- It was rather a big Lizard .

Yes it seemed to have its own path not sure if they had a nest up the hill :-?

:yes: we did a sunset drive with a nice guide once who told us quite emphatically that Hippos stay in the water in daylight else they get sunburn .Since then every-time we see them out in daylight we think of the drive lol :twisted:

lol yes we already have plans to check out the tree for a tail in two weeks time 0- O** lol

-O- The crock must have been preparing a nest or something similar :-?

The next day was a late start after the long trip the day before .We got into the park and the heat was already climbing .
Our first sighting is a spot the wildlife quiz -O-

We found some Lazy lions in the shade

At Lower Sabie this Glossy Starling was pretending to be a Woodpecker or Hornbill

This Croc was chilling in sunset dam .

The Sunset Dam caretakers were watching the traffic coming and going

We turned back to head back down the H4 onto the S130 on our last drive through the park .

love your landscape shots and we quite often do see hippos outside the water sometimes also during the heat of the day -O-

There is a leopard in the grass :twisted:

Also the lions are well hidden lol

The lizard in the last chapter is a giant armoured lizard as RP said \O
