Lovely photos, Roger
On my last trip I saw hippos grazing at 13:00 and it was very hot and sunny
The croc has bought a ticket for an "Adventure Trip"

If RPs ID is correct, then it is an giant armoured lizard that took my interest this time around
And the sunset... I'm a sucker for African colours

You never got to see the tail’s owner

It would have driven me crazy
Wow, a fantastic cheetah sighting and the only car
Eish hard-core before and after pics of the buffalo
Wild dogs sleeping can get boring rapidly, but it’s still another great sighting
Hippo cruising around in daylight and what was that croc up to

The next day was a late start after the long trip the day before .We got into the park and the heat was already climbing .
Our first sighting is a spot the wildlife quiz
We found some Lazy lions in the shade
At Lower Sabie this Glossy Starling was pretending to be a Woodpecker or Hornbill
This Croc was chilling in sunset dam .
The Sunset Dam caretakers were watching the traffic coming and going
We turned back to head back down the H4 onto the S130 on our last drive through the park .

Stunning shots, Roger,
love your landscape shots and we quite often do see hippos outside the water sometimes also during the heat of the day

There is a leopard in the grass
Also the lions are well hidden
The lizard in the last chapter is a giant armoured lizard as RP said
