Ja, those giraffe!
There is a pic somewhere of one with a broken skew neck, quite fine though!

Then came 8 January 2018 and the first day at work for the year, also my first day to travel to work and back from Grietjie. It's awesome doing two game drives a day while commuting between home and work.

It was another scorcher of a day and when I arrived home, these two were cooling down in a relatively empty waterhole...
Not much later the weather built up, the storm was approaching...
Next up, an aerial view of the area...

I don't take it with to work, too much hassle, but otherwise it's at the ready.

A general view of the area from quite high up. Our house in the middle of nowhere and the thatched buildings slightly higher up and to the right is Casart Lodge...
This is the house and "the stoep"...
Lastly, a Giraffe at the waterhole yesterday morning...
