There is a pair of Cape Wagtails here on the farm , around the house , on the stoep , on the lawn , constantly searching for insesct , tail bobbing up and down , etc . Cheerfull little fellows , and every few weeks or so , raising another clutch of youngsters .
They also like to look at themselves in any vehicle's windscreen , constantly jumping up against the glass , tweeting , and trying to " make contact " with their own image ....
And , when bringing some insect back the nest , they go the windscreen first , and try to feed the image first , before eventually going to the nest .
My son took this photograph .
