Thanks ExF, I usually know roughly what I'm looking at but a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
I had it down as a Harlequin, I found it when it nipped my arm, the only bite I got in SA and that was before going on Safari

Good day I'm new to the forum. Could somebody perhaps identify this beetle ? Picture not very clear. Looks like it belongs to Omorgus species but unsure which one. It is on predator dung. In South Africa

I saw a very similar beetle in Etosha and have yet to ID it.
Would love to know what it is.
Here is a pic I took. Think it's the same or closely related.
