Last night, while visiting a friend we heard an owl calling so went to look for it. We found two in the tree next door!!
Not sure what they were as it was too dark and they flew off soon after, but still exciting to see them!
Also saw there was an owl box in the tree so I'm sure they are regulars.

Plenty of swallows catching insects today... I think these are lesser striped and barn varieties. Not the easiest of subjects to catch in flight
