More fighting broke out in the lower ranks, watched closely by a hooded vulture.
A lappet-face decided that he'd had enough and left the scene.
Leaving the white-backs to sort themselves out.
A lone marabou landed nerdy, but did not join in with the mob on the carcass.
"What's the plan now?" Asked J.
"Let's pop over to see the dogs." I replied. "They are probably up to something by now."
So off we went down the road to pay a visit to the wild dogs.
When we arrived, we realised that we had only just got there in the nick of time. The pack had just begun their pre-hunt rally and every pack member was involved, including the pups. There was a cacophony of yips, yelps and twittering from all the dogs as they readied themselves for the hunt. This behaviour is essential for pack cohesion and was a delight to observe.
"It would be great if we could follow them on their hunting foray." I mused…..

You got quite a few crowds going there
Vultures on a carcass are interesting to watch, especially when you get the Chance to do so Close-up
But the doggies take the crown, I suppose

Chaos at the carcass, and more doggie chaos it seems!

I wonder if you followed them on the hunt?
